ABOUT THE READY OR NOT PUBLIC AWARENESS
CAMPAIGN
Kansas Action for Children developed READY or
NOT because it’s clear that early learning experiences and
health have a powerful impact on a child’s later success.
Fundamental to a child’s ability to enter school ready to
succeed are:
- access to healthcare
- early literacy
- publicly funded pre-kindergarten
The READY or NOT campaign seeks to educate Kansas
citizens – and especially those who have a power to make a
difference – about these fundamentals of school readiness.
